A HAIR STORY

A Hair story, the exhibition was created by Dajou Cottrell in partnership with Redpath Museum World Culture’s Curator Annie Lussier. The exhibition is a celebration of Black beauty, culture and art. It uses artifacts, oral histories, and pictures to convey the importance and cultural significance of hair in the Black community all around the world. The exhibit shows black McGill Students and staff showing off their beautiful hairstyles.
